Project WHAT! is Community Works' leadership and advocacy program for youth ages 12-17 who have or have had a parent in jail or prison. The Project WHAT! Youth educate the community about the experiences of children with incarcerated parents (CIP) through personal storytelling, trainings, and advocacy. This year, they have chosen to support other CIP through a holiday gift drive, helping to ensure that young children who are separated from their loved ones by the justice system can still experience the joy of the holidays.
