As a current member of the Community Works board of directors, I feel that more needs to be done for young people that have made mistakes in their lives. Having work with incarcerated youth in the past I know that the system is very complicated and cumbersome, but we have to keep addressing this issue. More work should be done by society as a whole for a positive change in their lives. We can make a difference for society as a whole by helping the young folks returning from the justice system.
Help me make a difference in Peoples lives who have made mistakes, and now are returning to society and they want to be an active and positive member of their community. At Community Works, we believe that your worst choices in adolescence shouldn’t define your future. Learn how we’re leveraging Restorative Justice Diversion to offer young people an opportunity to make amends, an alternative to incarceration.
